I am posting below all the slideshows for the Hume lectures, in two waves.
Wave one (now) includes all the introductory lecture material and all the material on Hume's epistemology. This includes:
* Hume: introduction and core epistemological theory
* Hume: the problem of inductive generalization
* Hume: compatibilism, liberty, and determinism
* Hume: the passions
Wave two (after Thursday) will include all the remaining material pertaining Hume's moral philosophy that we are going to cover in class this week. This includes:
* Hume: basic issues in Hume's moral philosophy
* Hume: utility in morality
* Hume: on justice
* Hume: essays on aesthetics and religion
